ACOUSTIC UNDERLAY

Acoustic Underlay For Tiles

Tiled floors are a popular choice as they are stylish, hygienic and easy to maintain, however, they present a challenge to the building industry due to their lack of natural sound absorption properties.  They pose a particular challenge in multi-residential and high-rise environments.  Anyone considering installing tiles in a residential apartment setting needs to consider strata by-laws to ensure that their new floor coverings comply with the rules. ABS West supplies and installs Regupol® Acoustic Underlay which performs in accordance with required standards.

Direct Stick Tiles to Regupol® 4515

Regupol® 4515 is a direct stick acoustic tiling system designed to isolate tiles from the main structure of the building, reducing impact energy generated by general footfall.  It is a tough, durable acoustic sound material to attenuate impact sound directly at source. It can be bonded to all types of base floors using Regupol's own acoustic adhesives.  The acoustic underlay is made of PUR-bound cork particles and PUR-Foam.

Regupol® 4515 Direct Stick Acoustic Underlay is used under all types of tiled floor surfaces in most new building constructions including apartments, schools, hospitals, libraries and supermarkets.  4515 provides a building solution to customers who seek excellence without compromise.
